  1. After "Moving Pictures" made my young, 5th grade self into a lifelong Rush fan, when "Exit Stage Left" came out it was played so much on cassette tape that I had to buy another copy! This was the album that highlighted Neil Peart as, even as a youngster, I knew this band - and this particular musician - was THE BEST!/5().
  2. Stage Left is the second live album by the Canadian rock band Rush, released as a double album in October by Anthem Records. After touring in support of their eighth studio album Moving Pictures (), the band gathered recordings made over the previous two years and constructed a live release from them with producer Terry Progressive rock, hard rock.

It is one of Rush's best-known songs and a staple of both classic rock radio and Rush's live B-side: "Witch Hunt".

Rush was planning on releasing a live album after the Permanent Waves tour, but manager Cliff Burnstein convinced the group that they were peaking musically, and should go straight back into the recording studio -- resulting in their finest album, 's Moving after the tour wound down, their postponed live album was finally assembled and released as Exit Stage Left .
